this is the new studio, its empty in this picture and doesnt look much but its beautiful! on the bank of kampot river looking out to bokor mountain. going to slam the shit out of this spot. above my buddy chiets bar, if your in kampot go to madis.

also last few days did the cliche tourist thing and helped build a house for some kids in a village near where i am, was actually really nice, any one need a straw banana leaf house after the world collapses hit me up!

this is the start of the wall that me and shida were working on before the popo turned up, big hand, hopefully itll get finished.

so heres a few photos from a roll of film i just got developed. I'm setting up studio in cambodia at the moment with my favorite bro-mance shida whos visiting for xmas before taking off on his 'world domination tour', so lots of mural painting untill then! but before landing in asia made some time to do some hitch-hiking in australia, from melbourne up through the middle. theres a couple of photos of the photographer i went with, but i dont have any of the actuall mission yet...hopefully ill get some, painted some murals in alice springs and caused some ruckus in darwin. The middle of australia was wierd. red. untill i get the photos not much to say, but it was pretty amazing. getting into alice springs and speaking with old indigenous australians who had english as their 6th language made me feel quite optimistic. it was really lovely to see that the invasion and colonization of australia, although gross and extreme hasnt taken that away.
news the last couple of days, half way through a huge mural with shida in kampot, we found out we were given false permission and the cops stopped us, but we've written a letter to the chieften to get permission... so if all goes well i'll have some photos of that up soon aswell, massive wall, like 4mX10m. other than that, just getting dirty in cambodia.
tools of trade over here, check the coconut paint bucket, pretty kitsch but it worked.

yo, zine launch and gallery sit

so after changing the venue of the exhibition last friday due to unforseen circumcision circumstances, im going to sit the spot this saturday and also have copies of a zine i pumped out this week. its at Blender studios, 110 Franklin laneway.

really sorry to any one who went to thousand pound and didnt find their way to the Blender , was a real bummer things went pair-shaped,..

I have a solo show of drawings at 1000 pound bend next week, 5th august, my buddy jared o'sullivan has a photography show the same night, I also a piece in the etc show in brisbane, that should be really cool, great concept exhibition put together by ben reeve,, cool as the dead,
if your in melbourne or brisbane go to one of these. I put a couple of drawings up but nothing finished, apparently its better to leave it till after,, i hear thats the rule,

if i can sell them all im going to use the money to stop washing dishes and hitch hike from melbourne to northern territory, ive wanted to make that mission for a long time.
